WSC Travels to Vermont For Second Round Matchup: It was announced by US Soccer on Friday that WSC will hit the road for their second round US Open Cup matchup, travelling to Burlington, Vermont to take on the reigning USL League 2 Champions Vermont Green on April 1 at 7 pm. WSC went 1-1 in US Open Cup road matches last season, posting their first-ever club win, 1-0 over FC Motown in Montclair, NJ on March 18 before losing at Detroit City FC, 3-1 on April 19th in the third round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup in Hamtrack, Michigan. WSC defeated New York Renegades in this year’s first round, 2-0 on Thursday in Mt. Vernon, behind a pair of Daniel Burko goals and the first-ever clean sheet for keeper Andrew Hammersley.

Powder Call Up: The club also learned this week that defender Noah Powder (Edison, NJ) has been called up to the Trinidad and Tobago National Team for their upcoming FIFA Series 2026 matches in Uzbekistan, where they will meet Venezuela on March 27 and 30th respectively.
WSC takes to the road to close out the month at Greenville on March 29 in USL League One play, their first road contest of the new season.
