One of the best pieces of the growth of Westchester Soccer Club are the stories of our athletes.
While we have over 15 athletes with home grown roots…including SEVEN from the MAAC…there are stories far and wide that resonate as well.
As part of a new podcast, Inside Westchester Soccer, you will get to know the faces and the stories of our club, produced by Kai Visions and hosted by Steven Padernacht.

First up, Daniel Burko. Burko, a forward from Norway whose journey has taken him from Europe to the US college game. He has had stops at Syracuse and Hofstra, and now here to the Westchester Soccer Club. Daniel has built a strong reputation as an attacking player with size, presence and the ability to make an impact in big moments. You learn about his journey from Norway to the United States, the mindset it takes to adapt and grow, what he brings to the pitch, and what his next chapter means to him here in Westchester County.
Also listen in to learn about how he mastered the art of tipping people, what the transfer portal brought him, and what it is like to grow up in Norwegian soccer culture.
