George Gjokaj
Head Coach
Gjokaj joins WSC after serving as Head of FC Westchester, one of the most prestigious youth programs in the country. Since 1997, he’s helped develop a steady pipeline of collegiate and pro-pathway talent.
A lifelong New Yorker, Gjokaj played youth soccer with BW Gottschee before starring at Adelphi and St. John’s, where he captained the Red Storm in 1995 and led the squad to their fourth-straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
He also played professionally with FC Kaiserslautern and later in the USISL for NY Fever, North Jersey Imperials, and Albany Alley Cats. Off the field, he played a key role in building NYCFC’s inaugural roster through his scouting work ahead of their MLS launch, a club that went on to win MLS Cup.
Ray Selvadurai
Technical Advisor
Westchester SC is proud to welcome Ray Selvadurai, who brings over 25 years of coaching and leadership experience across youth, collegiate, pre-professional, and professional soccer. Currently serving as the Director of Coaching at Manhattan Soccer Club, the largest youth and pre-professional club in NYC, Ray oversees the development of more than 1,500 players and coaches, leading the club to four youth national championships, numerous NCAA/NJCAA student-athletes, and multiple professionals across MLS, USL, and abroad. With a deep understanding of the tri-state and national soccer landscapes, he will play a key role in advising WSC leadership on club operations, player relations, and player acquisition. A former four-year starter and senior captain at Brandeis University, Ray also earned All-UAA and NSCAA Regional All-American honors during his collegiate career.
Paul McGlynn
Assistant Coach
Paul brings a deep passion for the game and a wealth of experience that shines through in his player-centered training approach and the development of comprehensive programs for both players and coaches.
Paul spent significant time at one of the most storied clubs in the region, BW Gottschee, where he played a key role in developing high-level talent. He was recently inducted into the Long Island Soccer League Hall of Fame, recognizing his lasting impact on the game.
In addition to his club experience, Paul has coached professionally within NISA and serves as a Talent ID Scout and Coaching Education Instructor for U.S. Soccer. His broad background across professional coaching, talent identification, and coach education makes him a valuable addition to the Westchester SC technical staff.
John Denis
Assistant coach
John Denis is an assistant coach for Westchester Soccer Club and a former professional player with international experience. A dual American-Honduran national, Denis earned recognition at the professional and international levels, including involvement with the Honduran National Team setup. Known for his attacking mindset and deep understanding of the game, he brings a player-first approach to development, emphasizing technical quality, tactical awareness, and professionalism. Denis draws on his experience across collegiate, professional, and international environments to help guide players both on and off the field.
Andrew Fitzgerald
Strength and Conditioning coach
Andrew Fitzgerald is a dedicated Strength & Conditioning and Performance Coach with a holistic approach to athlete development that blends physical performance, injury resilience, and mental readiness. He specializes in creating tailored training programs that help athletes train smarter, move better, and return stronger from setbacks by integrating movement quality, conditioning, and sport-specific preparation. With years of experience working across a wide range of levels, Andrew’s coaching emphasizes intentional progression, functional strength, and the cultivation of confident, self-aware athletes. His passion for performance and evidence-based training empowers players to elevate their game while building long-term athletic capacity.
Jake Creus
Performance/ Video Analyst
Jake Creus will be joining the technical staff after a successful career at Connecticut College in the NESCAC, where he won the NCAA DIII National Championship.
