The Argentinian netminder comes to WSC from Seton Hall University, where he was a key piece of the Pirates’ success over the last two seasons. In his Seton Hall career, Molina tallied 32 stars and 33 appearances, with a school-record 0.80 GAA, 0.752 save percentage and 13 total clean sheets. Last season, his first as a full-time goalie, Molina was the last line of defense for defense that ranked inside the top 30 of scoring in all of college soccer. In 19 starts, he amassed a 7-4-8 record with a single-season record 0.79 GAA, 49 saves and a single-season record 8 shutouts by a Seton Hall goalie. When he was needed most, he rose to the occasion in the Pirates’ NCAA Tournament First Round matchup against Siena. After 120 minutes of play and a 1-1 scoreline, the game went to penalties. While the Pirates made all three of their kicks, Molina saved two kicks to give Seton Hall the win in penalties, 1(3) – 1(0), in the team’s first home NCAA Tournament game since 2006.
