Panama may have had a quick exit from the World Cup this summer, but that didn’t mean one of its most famous sporting citizens wasn’t following along and supporting, and maybe he will turn some of that soccer love towards Mt. Vernon. This week, Yankees great and Westchester resident Mariano Rivera visited team partner Walter’s Hot Dogs to show off his latest venture, Mo’s Heat Hot Sauce, and the club went along for the ride, presenting him with his own custom jersey in the latest, and most popular WSC style.
“It is great to be able to build bonds in the community as we finish our second season,” said Ari Kwitkin-Close CRO of Westchester Soccer Club. “Those bonds, whether they are with a growing number of supporters from various backgrounds, our partners, or special people in the community, are invaluable to our growth. Getting to spend time with Mariano and learn more about all his ventures, and to see how that local bond fits across sports and business with a solid partner like Walter’s Hot Dogs, makes it even more special.”
