The scoring drought ended for WSC but it was not enough for a win, as Fort Wayne FC pushed their regular season unbeaten streak to eight matches with a 1-1 draw at Westchester SC on Wednesday.
Westchester struck in the 28th minute off a bicycle kick from captain Connor McGlynn. The midfielder ended a skid of back-to-back matches without scoring a goal to make it 1-0 Westchester at halftime.

Fort Wayne equalized in the second half thanks to leading goal scorer Taig Healy. Kabiru Gafar settled a corner kick from Michael Rempul, setting up Healy inside the 18-yard box. Healy found a sliver of space and booted a left-footed shot through the back of the net to tie the match at 1-1. The midfielder now has six goals in League One regular season play, and seven overall since joining the club.

WSC now hosts Greenville Sunday night.
