Denys Kostyshyn scored a pair of goals on either side of halftime, at 21 minutes and the 54 minute mark to lead Athletic Club Boise to a 4-0 home win Saturday night over WSC. Robinson Moshobane beat keeper Andrew Hammersley16 minutes into the contest to give Boise a 1-0 lead, and Luan Brito’s score in the 69th minute closed out the onslaught, as Boise outshot WSC 13-9 and blanked them for the first time this season.
It was just the fourth time in the two season’s of play WSC had allowed 4 or more goals in a game…the most was a 5-2 home loss to AV Alta last June, and was their second road loss this season in as many games (they dropped their opener 4-2 at Greenville on March 29). WSC went 2-8-5 on the road last season. They now return home to face Portland on Saturday April 25th at 7 pm.
