Okiyoshi joins Westchester SC on July 16th, 2025 after starting the season (and his pro career) with Rhode Island FC, off the back of an outstanding career at Marshall University, where he started 62 of his 63 total games in three seasons and captained the Herd to the national championship game in 2024. The Kobe, Japan, native was named TopDrawerSoccer’s National Best XI following a historic season, received United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-American honors, and was selected to the Sun Belt All-Conference First Team. He played every minute of the 2024 NCAA tournament for Marshall and was named to the College Cup All-Tournament Team and a Mac Herman Trophy Semifinalist. Prior to his time at Marshall, Okiyoshi began his college career at Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he helped lead the Bruins to a first-ever NJCAA National Title in 2021.
